Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Mndeme Safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.
After check-in, enjoy some time to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the lodge surroundings before meeting your safari guide for a briefing about your upcoming Northern Tanzania adventure.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for your first exciting wildlife experience.
Tarangire is renowned for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful savannah landscapes. Explore the park on a game drive while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and a remarkable variety of birdlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, leave the Tarangire area and begin a spectacular journey north through the Great Rift Valley toward the remote landscapes of Lake Natron.
The scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as you approach Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred “Mountain of God” of the Maasai people.
After arriving at Lake Natron and settling into your accommodation, head out with a local guide for an afternoon nature walk along the lake shore.
Depending on water levels and the season, look for lesser flamingos and other birdlife while enjoying the extraordinary volcanic landscape surrounding the lake.
Lake Natron is recognized as the world’s most important breeding site for lesser flamingos.

Today is dedicated to exploring the unique landscapes and culture surrounding Lake Natron.
Start early with a guided walk toward the lake shore, where you may observe lesser flamingos feeding in the shallow waters while enjoying spectacular views across the Rift Valley.
Later, join your local guide for a hike through the Engaresero gorge toward its refreshing waterfalls and natural pools.
In the afternoon, experience local Maasai culture and learn about traditional life, customs and the community’s close relationship with this extraordinary environment.

After an early breakfast, leave Lake Natron and begin an adventurous drive toward the northern reaches of Serengeti National Park.
Travel through remote landscapes and traditional Maasai country before entering the Serengeti ecosystem.
Once inside the park, your transfer becomes a game drive as you begin searching for giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, lions and other wildlife on your way to camp.
During the Great Migration season, Northern Serengeti becomes particularly famous for large wildebeest herds moving through the region.
Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon or evening for dinner and overnight.

Wake up surrounded by the wilderness of Northern Serengeti and prepare for a full day of game viewing.
Explore river valleys, open plains and rocky landscapes while searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and large herds of grazing animals.
Between approximately July and October, this region can offer excellent opportunities to witness the Great Migration and activity around the Mara River, although wildlife movements vary naturally from year to year.

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you journey south from Northern Serengeti toward the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti.
Rather than being simply a transfer day, the route offers excellent opportunities for wildlife encounters throughout the journey.
Arrive in the Seronera region, famous for its resident predators and diverse wildlife.
Spend the afternoon exploring Central Serengeti in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species before heading to camp.

Start the morning with another game drive across the Central Serengeti, taking advantage of your final opportunities to explore its wildlife-rich plains.
Later, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Naabi Hill.
Along the way, guests interested in archaeology and human history may choose an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge.
Continue into the Ngorongoro Highlands and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon or early evening.

The crater’s relatively compact ecosystem and high concentration of wildlife make it one of Tanzania’s most rewarding safari destinations.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater wall and beginning your journey back to Arusha.
